New Mexico SWANA is committed to improving the safety of all who work in and with the solid waste industry. We provide rigorous safety training for landfill operators and employees, stay up to date of equipment safety features, and promote best safety practices in the workplace. Decreasing the frequency of casualties in New Mexico solid waste facilities is of the utmost importance to ensure the health and wellbeing of all employees and their families. Our monthly meetings always kick off with a safety minute where a particular safety topic is presented, then discussed by the group.
